Rednesday Reds

This doll bed was a gift from my very best friend Angie. I love using it as a tray on my kitchen island. It is so easy to pick up and move whenever I need to use the space.

And what would life be like without some old bingo numbers just sitting around for our enjoyment! Oh look, I see my favorite number 5 sitting on top!

Happy Rednesday Everyone!

New Toy!

One rainy Sunday spent piddling away,
Found the Mrs. on E-bay for most of the day.
When up popped a picture which made the old gal sway,
I really must win this, yes I must, she did say.

With a quick little bid, and a few more later that day,
A package to Bama was soon on its way!

This tiny dish drainer sits wherever it may,
As it brings joy to Happy Acres in the most delightful way!

This dish drainer is only 7 inches long and holds toy dishes. I only have these plates that fit but I really wish the artist had of drawn the wolf a little differently. Now to search for more tin plates!

Sorry that I haven't been around much, I have been painting away with my new Annie Sloan chalkpaint that I picked up last week! Hope to get some new items in our booth by the end of the week.

Happy last week of February to you!

Birthday Girl

22 years ago today, this Bundle of Joy named Casey Jean  was the first to arrive in the Steadman Household.

I put huge bows on her head back before they were cool!

Tried to curl the straightest hair in the world.

Watched her pitch softball year after year after year. This pic always makes me giggle!

Her Senior picture. She left for Mississippi that year.

Last year at her sister's graduation. I am in need of new pictures of her! Looks like a trip to Mississippi is in order.

Happy Birthday Daughter! Mama loves you!

I have a secret...an obsession...an obsession so great that I will stop anywhere at anytime to pick the obsession from its pile of trash on the roadside.

Yes it is true. I am a ScreenDoorAholic. I may never recover. At least I hope not.

I love this hole that the former owners tore in order to unlatch the door!

This one lives in my bedroom where I can enjoy it each and every morning.  I love to hang pictures or wreaths on them.

Ahhh...Red flowers and daisies on a screen door! This is the stuff dreams are made of! ;)

I've shared mine...now how about you. Any secret obsessions?

Happy Friday Y'all!

Birthday Boy

18 years ago today, this came into our little family of four and made us complete!

What a joy he has been. My little caboose is little no more.

Dancing with his sister before last year's prom. This is the true Dalton. He makes me laugh.

Happy 18th Birthday Son! Mama loves you.

Peek A Boo

If you have read my blog for very long, you have seen this green wire shelf that resides in my kitchen.

Can you see that little bit of red shining through the green on the back of it? Well, when one is cooking supper she might just get a hankering to scratch that paint off!

Where that one might just find this...

Or this!

Now that's the kind of Peek A Boo game that I still like to play!!!

Now what to put on it next? Hmmmmmm...

Question for You????

What do you get when you cross a rainy day, a junk lover, and e-bay???

Answer...One Happy Sandie!!!

Been wanting these for a while now! They are still in need of a bath.

The color and the silhouette won me over on this one!

Can anyone guess why I had to have this sweet postcard? Yes, once again you know me too well! The sifter!
This was not on Ebay but found yesterday while out thrifting and antiquing.

Still the best is yet to come! I can't wait! Will show it when it arrives!

Happy Friday!!!

Simply Yesterday Redo

Amy @ With a Vintage Twist was so kind to take photos of our booth at Simply Yesterday. I revamped the booth and took a few more pics so Amy's are the "Before" and mine are the"After"!

I can't believe that I have let these hair pins of  Mama's stay in the booth! I really do love them and I think they should come home with me! Don't y'all agree?

Hope you have enjoyed a tour of our booth. A special thank you to Amy for sharing us on her great blog! If you haven't visited her you really should!

Linking to Rednesday! Come and join the party!

All You Need Is Love...

Love is all you need!

“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John 13:34-35

Happy Valentine's Day to All My Sweethearts in Blogville!

Got Pet Milk?

Thursday me and ol' Angie took a road trip to Nolensville, Tennessee to see what fun we could get into!
When we walked into the door of this one precious shop, that I have no clue the name of , I walked straight to this Pet Milk jar. I confess... I have a love affair with old jars and their labels! I also found this sweet shovel there.

This huge Opera Cremes candy box was found at none other than City Farmhouse in Franklin.

The lid to the milk is one of the best parts with its vintage green color! Swoon!

The back of the label is just as nice though!

Thanks for visiting my blog and for all of your sweet comments! Hope you are not tired of seeing all my junk!

Happy Weekend to All Y'all!
